An excellent cutting/marking gauge made from Indian rosewood with all-brass fittings.
The stem has a brass inlay wear strip and the head has brass rubbing strips.
The steel cutting knife is held in position with a brass wedge. Before using we suggest to sharpen the knife with 1000 and 6000 grip sharpening stones.
