Who is Ho Mei-Ying?
Hi, I'm the founder of DasTool. After graduated from Management College of National Taiwan University, I worked in the woodworking machinery export trading company for about 7.5 years. In 2000, based on the passion for fine woodworking, I joined the 12 weeks intensive course of Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine USA, and attended Joe Tracy's studio to apprentice for 3 more months. The purpose to establish DasTool is to provide wood fellows with fine tools to help them doing better woodworking.

We welcome questions about products before you buy. For example, price/original/way of using/material/size/shipping freight, etc.

Place Orders

The order form is a legal contract. If you place an order, it means the order info is fully understanded and accepted.

| Acceptance |
The order form is a legal contract. If we receive an order with payment or C.O.D, we are liable to supply you the order items. If the product name/quantity/price/shipping freight is not correct, we will advise you before shipping. The order will not be delivered until above details are sure. We reserve the right to accept your order or not.

All the prices include 5% v.a.t. Price unit is NTD (New Taiwan Dollar).

| Catalog Error |
We are doing our best to inspect every detail in the web site, but if any change about product or typing error, we are not liable to advise each customers individually.

We accept prepay by remittance, prepay by credit card, and C.O.D. For credit card please allow bank processing about 2-3 days.

| Shipping Freight |
Customers are liable to pay shipping freight. The shipping freight chart is for order within Taiwan only. For international order please check in advance.

C.O.D
|
The service of C.O.D. (Collect On Delivery) is for order within Taiwan only. It means customer give the transporter full amount including product/service charge/shipping freight. The transporter service charge is NTD100 for order below 10000, 1% for order more than 10001. C.O.D. amount limits to NTD29999. Delivery Monday ~ Saturday.

| Delivery |
We deliver your order items by post or transporters T-Join or HCT. You will receive the parcel in 3 days. For credit card processing and remote area, please allow 2-3 more days. Transporters delivery Monday ~ Saturday, post office delivery Monday ~ Friday. Sunday delivery is available for extra shipping freight. Overseas delivery is sent by post or UPS.

Account Customers
|
Orders from local authorities, schools, universities, hospitals, prisons and other government funded organisations only be accepted if sent by post, fax, or email. All orders from these customers are subject to our order info. For small orders we require full payment before delivery or C.O.D.. For contract order we allow you to make payment in full within 30 days of our invoice. Based on the trading law, if not get the full payment, we have the right to withdraw the goods or substitution without any legal process.

We offer quantity discount for some items, and the special prices are shown in the price area.

We are glad to give you the service advice. You are obligated to pay the repair charge.

We pay for the order immediately receiving your special import order. You are required to fully pay to us with the order. The quality is defect free,
and not returnable to us.

| Equipment |
To order in stock or special machinery equipment, you are required to fully pay to us with the order. The quality is defect free, and not returnable to us. Truck driver is responsible to deliver to the destinatioin ground only; for extra service like re-position, up/down stairs, please refer to local transporters or lifters. We are glad to give you advice but you are liable to fully pay for the extra service.

We will advise you the items availablity as soon as receiving your inquiry. It's your decision to have back order or not. Due to time lag of web renewal, if you hope to receive everything in one order please check with us before placing an order.

We do not accept order cancel.

| Return & Exchange |
1. We are responsible for the shipping freight if you receive error or defective items. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving order.

2. You are responsible for the shipping freight if you order the wrong items not opened yet and feel like to exchange. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving order. We will not accept the claim if you do not advise us before shipping it back.

3. We do not accept the claim for items being used.

4. We do not accept the claim for lumber, sand papers, glue, oil, and books.

How does DasTool operate?
Established in August 2004, DasTool provides high quality fine woodworking tools and equipement mainly through internet. Since February 2008, we moved the company to 87 Joiulong Street in Taichung city.
To individuals: The place is mainly for stock and company operation. If you hope to check the product, please advice your wish list and make appointment in advance. Of coutse it's your choice to buy the product or not. (But who will let go such attractive tools from DasTool?)
Payment by NTD cash, VISA or MASTER card are all accetable.
We thank your understanding for not able to supply book pre-view, and tool testing.
At first floor (415*565cm) we setup a sample workshop, which includes:
lumber rack / small work bench / 10" cast-iron contractor table saw / 14" band saw / 16" drill press / 1hp chisel mortiser / 13" planer / dust collector / air cleaner / mini lathe / variable speed lathe / slow speed grinder / 2hp air compressor / sliding cutoff saw
With mobile base & proper arrangement, a small space is amazingly enough for a personal workshop.
For customers' safety, we do not offer equipment operation.
To schools: Besides high standard professional knowledgement and technique, we are formally registered in government department of economic development. We have the legal right to tender a bid. For workshop setup, please check with us.
